Juvenile violence has become one of the nation’s most uncontrolled problems. Concerns in reference to youth violence are widely shared by federal, state, and local government officials. When identifying the causes of criminal behavior, it is important to determine which factors contribute to delinquent identity and why some adolescents who adopt a delinquent image do not discard that image in the process of becoming an adult. Our juvenile justice system has spent much time and energy attempting to understand the causes of delinquency.

 

Stop the Cycle addresses numerous social problems, such as drug and alcohol abuse, family environment, gangs, peer pressure, STI’s, AIDS, etc.

Environmental surrounding, abuse, and insufficient rehabilitation each may play extensive roles as to why juveniles engage in violent activity. Juveniles who are at-risk of becoming delinquent often live in difficult environment.

 

Stop the Cycle is an effective program in helps to prevent juvenile delinquency. Our mission is to provide juveniles and young adults with support, financial planning, counseling, educational programs, mentoring, etc.
